This is a factory original two-piece design with deck seams and overlapping quarter panels just like the original 2000 through 2001 Honda S2000. You will love this Haartz Stayfast convertible top! It is a very durable cloth upgrade to the standard vinyl the 2000-2001 Honda S2000.

About the Plastic Window

Includes a new tinted DOT rated plastic that is sewn-in for added durability. The window is a higher-grade and heavy gauge press polished plastic for superior visibility.

About the Haartz Stayfast Cloth Fabric

Manufactured using premium Haartz Stayfast canvas, which was the factory original high-end topping material for the S2000. It has excellent UV protection making it very resistant to fading from exposure to the sun.

  • Factory-style rain guard sewn-in along length of convertible top to direct water flow
  • Factory-style sewn-in attachment retainers are pre-drilled for easy, accurate mounting
  • Deck seams are heat-sealed as original for added strength along this critical seam
  • Windows are double stitched and include finish trim piping on the outside

This was shipped timely and installed professionally by a company that had done several for the local Honda dealer.  The top looks great when closed.  When the top has been down and is closed again it has wrinkled places in the plastic window to a greater extent than the original top did.  This is of no consequence as long as there's no premature wear or hole.
